The office of Captain Midnight is supposed to evoke both horror, awe, and curiosity. It is an amalgamation of generations of cobbled together tech - along with some fantastical marine-based body horror. The crab bodies are photogrammetry scans I made of crab shells Ive collected - they are run through realitycapture, zbrush for remeshing/polygon reduction, and then baked in both Substance Designer (to bake the texture from the raw realitycapture model to the low-poly zbrush mesh) and Substance Painter.
